A woman faces a petit larceny charge after Ontario County sheriff's deputies said she took $50.62 in merchandise from a Geneva Walmart on Monday.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Office said it arrested Tina Nadeau, 57, Tuesday morning after investigating the reported theft at the store at 990 Routes 5 and 20 in the town of Geneva.
Deputies said Nadeau concealed merchandise in her purse and passed all points of sale without paying.
She was charged with one count of petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.
Deputies said she was released on an appearance ticket for a later date in Geneva Town Court.
