The Buffalo Bills look to improve to 3-0 Sunday when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3 at Highmark Stadium, with kickoff set for 1 p.m. on FOX.
Los Angeles comes in at 0-2 following consecutive 26-14 losses to the Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders. Justin Herbert has thrown three interceptions, taken six sacks and fumbled three times, while the Chargers have recorded seven total fumbles and lost two. Los Angeles has forced only one turnover defensively and has three sacks through two games.
Buffalo’s offense has been among the NFL’s most productive units through two weeks, behind Josh Allen’s stellar play, scoring a combined 77 points. The Bills lead the league with 7.07 yards per play and 9.43 passing yards per play, while averaging 5.01 yards per rushing attempt. Buffalo is also averaging 27 first downs per game and converting 57.1 percent of its third-down opportunities.
The Bills’ defense, meanwhile, will look to build on a better overall performance after giving up 62 points in the first two games against the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions.
If Buffalo picks up a victory, it would mark their third straight year they have started the season 3-0.
