A Canandaigua man was jailed after investigators arrested him on warrants tied to missed court appearances in two Seneca County towns, according to the Seneca County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators arrested Ted Oconnor, 46, on Sept. 17 in Ontario County on two bench warrants and charged him with two counts of third-degree bail jumping, the office said.
The sheriff's office said Oconnor had failed to return to Seneca Falls Town Court after an arraignment on resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration charges. It said he also missed a return date in Romulus Town Court following an arraignment on a theft-of-services charge.
Both courts issued bench warrants, according to the release. Investigators located Oconnor in Ontario County and took him into custody.
Oconnor was arraigned in Seneca County's centralized arraignment court and remanded to the county correctional facility. He is scheduled to return to both town courts to answer the charges.
