Ithaca High School goalkeeper James Reiter will play Division III soccer at Babson College this fall, according to Tompkins Weekly. Reiter chose the Massachusetts program after connecting with a Babson assistant coach who previously coached Ithaca girls soccer.
Babson has won the last two NEWMAC titles and reached the NCAA Tournament in each of the last three seasons.
Reiter recorded 77 saves and five shutouts for Ithaca last fall.
He also earned All-State honors after helping the Little Red reach the Section IV Class AAA championship game.
Reiter joins other recent Ithaca boys soccer players who have continued their careers at the college level.
