Jennifer Quijano pleads guilty to all counts in Sam Nordquist murder case

Jennifer Quijano pleaded guilty Wednesday to first-degree murder and every other count against her in the kidnapping, torture and killing of Sam Nordquist, according to the Ontario County District Attorney's Office.

Quijano entered the pleas before Ontario County Judge Kristina Karle. She is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 8.

The indictment charged Quijano with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree kidnapping, second-degree conspiracy, first-degree aggravated sexual abuse, concealment of a human corpse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

During the plea proceeding, Quijano admitted participating in Nordquist's prolonged kidnapping, torture, sexual abuse and murder between Jan. 1 and Feb. 2, 2025, the district attorney's office said. She also admitted helping conceal his body after his death.

District Attorney Jason MacBride said the plea was another step toward justice for Nordquist. Members of Nordquist's family are expected to address the court at sentencing.

Criminal charges remain pending against four co-defendants, according to the district attorney's office.
