Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association will host its annual Seneca Lake Summer Soiree on July 29 in Geneva to raise money for programs focused on lake protection and water quality.
The fundraiser will run from 5 to 10 p.m. at West & Lake and will support the group's work in water quality monitoring, public education, environmental stewardship and advocacy across the Seneca Lake watershed.
The evening will include dinner, Finger Lakes wines, craft cocktails and live entertainment by The Decades Band. A virtual auction will feature donated items and experiences from area businesses and supporters, including local getaway packages, Finger Lakes wines and other offerings.
Seneca Lake Pure Waters said the event is meant to bring together residents, visitors, local businesses and supporters while raising funds to protect Seneca Lake as a natural, recreational and economic resource.
Tickets include dinner, beverages and live entertainment. Advance reservations are required, and attendance is limited.
The association said its lake protection projects and programs are funded by donations and memberships from supporters.
