iQOO Z11i Brings 120Hz LCD and Big Battery Here’s Why Buyers Are Talking About It

iQOO Z11i has been launched in the budget smartphone segment. It combines features that may attract buyers seeking long battery life and a smooth display without paying flagship prices. The phone has been launched in China as the cheapest model in the Z11 series and features a 6.74-inch 120Hz LCD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and a massive 6,500mAh battery.

Incredible 120Hz Smooth Display

The iQOO Z11i features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The higher refresh rate makes scrolling, animations and supported games look smoother than traditional 60Hz panels. Some prospective buyers may want an AMOLED screen for deeper blacks and higher contrast but the Z11i sticks to an LCD panel to stay true to its budget positioning.

The 6.74-inch display also offers users a lot of room for watching videos, gaming, reading, and social media. The big panel and high refresh rate combo is likely to be one of the biggest selling points to customers looking to shop in the entry level 5G segment.

‘Big Battery Is a Big Plus’

The Z11i features a 6500mAh battery, which is more than most mainstream smartphones. This makes the device very interesting for users who are spending hours watching videos, using navigation, browsing social media or playing games.

However, the massive capacity comes with a trade-off in charging speed. The phone supports 15W wired charging, so the large battery may take a bit longer to charge compared to other devices that have faster charging systems. But the combo could still appeal if you’re more interested in battery life than fast charging. You also get reverse wired charging, so the phone can power compatible accessories or other devices, under certain conditions.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is all about day-to-day performance

Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chipset powers the device. The processor is targeted at budget 5G phones and should be good enough for day to day activities like messaging, streaming, web browsing, social media and lighter gaming.

It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The microSD card offers expandable storage, allowing users to store a large collection of photos, videos, music or downloaded media. It runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6 in China.

Low Cost, Simple Camera Setup

The Z11i delivers basic photography features. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel shooter with an LED flash, not the multi-camera setups you see on pricier handsets. That clearly makes the phone more of a choice for those who value battery life, the smoothness of the display and everyday performance more than advanced photography.

This simpler camera setup could also aid iQOO in keeping costs down. The camera hardware should be sufficient for casual shots, document scanning, video calls and social media but if you’re serious about photography then you might want to go for a more advanced model.
