Caviar’s New iPhone Ultra Finishes Bring Apple’s Foldable iPhone Vision to Life

Caviar’s New iPhone Ultra Finishes Bring Apple’s Foldable iPhone Vision to Life

Luxury device customizer Caviar has presented a new collection inspired by the concept of Apple’s rumored first foldable iPhone. It’s called the iPhone Ultra, and the company has created four premium finishes that pair a book-style folding design with materials like titanium, silver, leather and gold. Apple has not officially announced a foldable iPhone’s final name, design, specs, or release details, so Caviar’s collection should be seen as a luxury interpretation of current expectations, not a preview of confirmed Apple hardware.

Four Luxury Finishes Create Different Styles

Caviar’s Flagship collection is available in Titanium, Silver, Dark Cherry and Gold. Each model combines materials and finishes in different ways to give the imagined foldable device its own character. The Titanium edition has an industrial look, while the Silver model adds precious-metal details for a brighter finish. Dark Cherry is constructed from metal with leather accents, while the Gold edition is the most expensive, featuring extensive gold decoration.

The Gold version of the phone has the Apple logo made of 18-karat gold and parts of the titanium body, decorative frame and camera area coated with 24-karat gold. Caviar is limiting this version to 19 pieces, cementing its status as a collector-focused product rather than a mainstream smartphone option.

The Design Envisions a Book-Style Foldable iPhone

Caviar’s concept features a small external screen that can be used when the device is shut and a bigger flexible screen when opened up. The company also has a hinge system and flexible glass in the works that are designed to make the display crease less visible. These design ideas fit into the broader trend of premium book-style foldable smartphones, but it remains to be seen how Apple will actually implement them it.

One of the biggest hardware changes Apple has made in years could be a foldable iPhone. Industry expectations are that the device will open to a tablet-like screen but keep a smaller external display for quick tasks. Early supply could be constrained by the complexities of mass producing a new foldable form factor, analysts have suggested.

Prices Put Collection in Ultraluxury Category

These custom built models are far more expensive than a regular premium smartphone is expected to cost. Caviar has priced the Titanium version at $13,840, the Dark Cherry model at $14,270, the Silver edition at $15,270 and the Gold version at $15,560. It’s not so much about the underlying smartphone’s cost, as it’s about luxury materials, limited production and a lot of customization.

The collection is targeted at affluent collectors who are searching for technology products that are also status symbols. Caviar has already reimagined mainstream smartphones with precious metals and rare decorative materials and the iPhone Ultra concept continues that strategy by appealing to interest in a product Apple itself has yet to officially introduce.
