Hornell's Fourth of July parade will use a longer route this year, according to the Hornell Tribune. The city will also name its first grand marshals for the holiday event.
The parade starts at noon July 4 from Hornell High School before moving along State, Seneca and Main streets to Bank Street.
Events at Veterans Memorial Park at James Street include a classic car show, live music, swimming, food and craft vendors, and family activities. Fireworks are scheduled for 10 p.m.
