Prisoner who threw urine at officer pleads guilty

Throwing urine at a prison nurse and correction officer has led to another felony conviction for an incarcerated man, according to The Citizen.

Levar Murray, 48, was found guilty of two counts of aggravated harassment of an employee by an incarcerated individual. Prosecutors said he threw urine at the two employees while confined in Auburn Correctional Facility’s Special Housing Unit in January 2024.

Murray, who is serving a separate nine-year prison sentence, faces up to five additional years behind bars when he’s sentenced Sept. 25.
