Seneca Falls man charged after domestic dispute investigation

A Seneca Falls man was arrested following a domestic dispute investigation in the Town of Seneca Falls, according to local police.

The Seneca Falls Police Department said Steven M. Gaudu, 32, of Seneca Falls, was arrested May 8 and charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, an A misdemeanor.

Police said the charge stems from an investigation into a domestic incident in which Gaudu is accused of damaging property belonging to the victim.

Gaudu was taken into custody and transported to the Seneca Falls Police Department for processing before being taken to the Seneca County Jail to await centralized arraignment proceedings.

Authorities said an order of protection was requested on behalf of the victim.
