A major healthcare expansion could reshape Auburn’s north side, with a new 80,000-square-foot medical hub in the works, according to The Citizen. Auburn Community Hospital plans to replace an aging building and create a full-service campus.
The three-story center would bring multiple specialties under one roof, including orthopedics, cardiology, and imaging, while adding more than 200 parking spaces to ease long-standing congestion.
Leaders say the $60 million project could break ground in November if approved, with construction lasting into 2027. Officials also expect new jobs and expanded care options as the hospital continues investing in local services.
