A Canandaigua man is facing multiple felony charges following an investigation into an alleged assault and robbery that occurred earlier this year.
City police said Edwin Feliciano, 54, was arrested April 20 and charged with first-degree strangulation and second-degree robbery.
Authorities allege the incident took place March 15, when Feliciano assaulted and strangled a resident in the city before stealing property from the victim.
Feliciano was processed and transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he was held pending arraignment.
