An employee was arrested after an investigation into stolen lottery tickets at a business in Auburn, police said.
Thomas E. Crawford III was identified as the suspect following a complaint from SK Post on State Street, according to the Auburn Police Department.
Police said the complaint was filed Feb. 18 and alleged an employee had been stealing from the business.
Investigators determined Crawford took instant win lottery tickets and proceeds from winning tickets on multiple occasions while working. The total value of the theft was reported at $2,079.50.
Crawford was arrested March 24 and charged with a felony offense. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
