A driver faces charges after deputies found a vehicle stopped in the roadway with the operator unconscious in the Town of Venice.
Brianna Rosekrans, 26, of Scipio, was arrested following the March 13 incident, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 1:55 p.m. to Indian Field Road and Cook Road along with Southern Cayuga Ambulance.
Authorities said the driver was evaluated at the scene and did not require medical treatment.
Investigators determined Rosekrans was intoxicated and took her into custody.
She later provided a breath sample measuring .25% blood alcohol content.
Rosekrans was charged with DWI first offense, aggravated DWI, and other vehicle and traffic violations.
She was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Venice Court on April 6 at 6 p.m.
