A longtime Ithaca lawmaker is heading into another election cycle without a challenger, according to The Ithaca Voice. Assemblymember Anna Kelles has launched her bid for a fourth term with no opponents yet in her district.
Kelles has consistently won by wide margins and often faced little competition in past races. She represents a heavily Democratic district covering Tompkins County and parts of Cortland County.
Her platform highlights environmental policies, tenant protections, and childcare support. If reelected, she would begin her next two-year term in January 2027.
