A driver faces charges after a crash into a utility pole in the Village of Fair Haven.
Grace E. Paige, 30, of Sterling, was arrested following the March 8 incident, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 3:37 a.m. to Main Street for a reported motor vehicle accident.
Investigators said an SUV traveling west left the roadway onto the north shoulder and struck a utility pole.
Paige, the sole occupant, was found to be driving while intoxicated.
She was charged with DWI first offense, aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 or higher, and other traffic infractions.
Paige was processed and released with appearance tickets. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sterling Court on March 25 at 6 p.m.
