Crowds will soon pack the Watkins Glen High School auditorium as students bring a modern pop musical to the stage later this month.
Watkins Glen High School will present SIX: Teen Edition with performances set for March 27 and March 28 at 7 p.m., and a matinee March 29 at 2 p.m.
The production retells the lives of the six wives of King Henry VIII through a concert-style performance inspired by modern pop music. The show was written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss.
Kelsey Gill directs and choreographs the production. Alex Gill serves as technical director, and Kim Laursen is the music director.
Students portraying the six queens include Zade Gomez-Fitzsimmons as Catherine of Aragon, Natalie VanSkiver as Anne Boleyn, Quin Artusa as Jane Seymour, Kaylin Smith as Anna of Cleves, Lilac Cruz as Katherine Howard, and Grace Weed as Catherine Parr.
A student ensemble supports the cast during the performance.
The show will be held at the Watkins Glen High School Auditorium.
