Cornell women’s basketball delivered a historic performance Tuesday afternoon, rolling past SUNY Delhi, 106-27, at Newman Arena to improve to 7-8 overall. The Big Red eclipsed the 100-point mark for the first time in program history while holding the Broncos to 19.2 percent shooting.

Three Cornell players recorded double-doubles to lead the dominant effort. Freshman Ally Pape finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, sophomore Alana Andrews added 14 points and 14 boards, and freshman Ashley Childers contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds. Freshman Grace Renners scored 12 points, while Audrey Chen added 10. Cornell shot 49.4 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from three-point range and 77.8 percent from the free-throw line, while setting a program record with 70 rebounds.
SUNY Delhi was led by Aniyah Boston’s six points, with N’Dera Francis scoring five. The Broncos fell to 3-13 on the season.
Cornell seized control early, building a 23-9 first-quarter lead behind strong interior play. The Big Red stretched the advantage to 47-13 at halftime, limiting SUNY Delhi to four second-quarter points. Cornell continued to pull away in the third quarter, outscoring the Broncos 30-9 to take a 77-22 lead into the final period. A 29-5 fourth quarter capped the record-setting victory, with Pape’s late three-pointer pushing Cornell past the century mark.
The win marked the largest margin of victory in program history and set new single-game records for points, rebounds and assists.
Cornell returns to Ivy League play on Saturday, January 17, hosting Brown at Newman Arena for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
