Deputies in Yates County are asking the public for help locating a man wanted on an active bench warrant.
The Yates County Sheriff’s Office released a wanted poster identifying the individual as Nathaniel J. Wright.
According to the sheriff’s office, Wright is wanted on a bench warrant. Officials did not release details about the underlying case.
The poster describes Wright as a white male, standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 230 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was born on March 10, 1988.
The sheriff’s office included a photo of Wright as part of the alert.
Anyone who knows Wright’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Yates County Sheriff’s Office at 315-536-4438.
Tips can also be submitted by text message by sending “YATES” to 847411.
Authorities urge the public not to approach Wright directly and to instead contact law enforcement with any information.
