A Penn Yan man was arrested after allegedly displaying a knife during a parking lot argument.
Vincent J. Scarpechi, 64, is charged with second-degree menacing. Police say the incident happened November 15. The confrontation took place outside a village business during a verbal dispute.
Witnesses told police that Scarpechi displayed what appeared to be a knife. Statements were collected from everyone involved.
Scarpechi was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Penn Yan Village Court on December 8.
