A domestic incident in the Town of Williamson led to an arrest early Saturday, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Tyson J. Faniel, 31, of Williamson, was taken into custody following the investigation.
Deputies said the incident involved a victim attempting to contact 911 when Faniel allegedly took the phone and spit in the victim’s face.
Faniel was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and then taken to the Wayne County Jail.
Authorities said he was held to await CAP arraignment scheduled for 7 a.m. March 28.
