Geneva woman arrested after knife threat at local business

Deputies arrested a woman Monday morning after she threatened someone with a knife at a business in Geneva.

Adrienne A. Hunt, 65, of Genesis Way, was taken into custody around 11 a.m. on November 24 following a report of menacing at 481 State Route 5 and 20. According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Hunt displayed a knife in a threatening way, making a patron fear physical harm.

She was charged with menacing in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor. Deputies transported her to the Ontario County Jail, where she awaits arraignment.

Hunt is scheduled to appear in Geneva Town Court at a later date to answer the charge. The Geneva Police Department assisted with the investigation.
