Deputies arrested a Farmington man late Friday night after responding to a reported disturbance involving a forced entry attempt at a home on Loomis Road.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Dakota E. Hanna was taken into custody on November 21 around 9:35 p.m. following an investigation at the scene.
Authorities say Hanna tried to forcibly enter a residence by kicking in the door, causing damage. Deputies determined that his actions were intended to harm the occupant. He was charged with Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree, Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, and Reckless Endangerment of Property.
Hanna was transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment.
