A Rochester woman was taken into custody Wednesday evening after she failed to appear in court on a petit larceny charge.
Deputies with the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zamaria Tremyce Coats, 21, after her release from the Monroe County Jail around 6:42 p.m. The arrest was made without incident.
Coats was wanted on a bench warrant issued by Victor Town Court, where she had been scheduled to appear in connection with the theft charge.
Authorities transported her to the Ontario County Jail, where she is currently being held on bail.
