City Manager Amie Hendrix is expected to receive a new three-year contract this week, boosting her salary to $146,750, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
Hendrix, who took over during political turmoil in 2022, has helped stabilize Geneva’s government and led key projects in infrastructure, public safety, economic development, and environmental efforts. Mayor Steve Valentino, who’s leaving office soon, praised her leadership and says her continued service will benefit the incoming City Council.
She’s credited with launching long-delayed upgrades, attracting new businesses, and expanding green programs like composting and stormwater planning.
