A Buffalo woman is facing felony charges after a robbery at Dick’s House of Sports in Victor led to a foot chase and arrest.
Deputies say Tajhenne T. Walker, 30, tried to flee the store on September 21 with stolen merchandise. When confronted, she ran from officers, leading them back through the Eastview Mall store before being taken into custody.
Walker was found with a type of pepper spray that had reportedly been threatened against a store employee during the incident. Deputies charged her with first-degree robbery — a Class B felony — along with petit larceny, resisting arrest, conspiracy, and possession of burglary tools.
She was taken to the Ontario County Jail and released after posting $5,000 cash bail. She is expected to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
Investigators say three other suspects — two women and one man — are still at large. The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
