Deputies say a Geneva woman was drunk behind the wheel late Friday night when she was stopped for failing to dim her high beams.
Aunalisa Smith, 68, was arrested just before midnight on Sept. 19 after deputies pulled her over on Route 31 in the town of Arcadia, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Smith had bloodshot, glassy eyes, slurred speech, and smelled strongly of alcohol. She also refused to take a roadside breath test, but later registered a .07% blood alcohol level at the Sheriff’s Office.
Smith is facing multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired, failure to dim high beams, and refusal to submit to a breath screening.
She’s scheduled to appear in Arcadia Town Court at a later date.
