Cayuga County lawmakers moved next week’s regular meeting and added a special session to address public concerns, according to The Citizen.
The Sept. 23 meeting will now take place at the Ward W. O’Hara Museum in Owasco, where residents are expected to speak about the recent federal immigration raid in Ira. A special meeting is set for Sept. 25 to review costly proposals for the closed county office building, shuttered due to asbestos.
Officials will present new renovation estimates—the third expert opinion in three years.
