Deputies arrested a Rochester woman Saturday evening after she allegedly stole nearly $200 worth of merchandise from Von Maur at Eastview Mall.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Amber M. Lawrence, 36, was taken into custody around 7:45 p.m. after store staff reported a shoplifting incident.
Deputies say Lawrence passed all points of sale without paying for $197 in merchandise. She was charged with larceny and released with a court appearance scheduled in the Town of Victor.
The investigation was handled by OCSO deputies.
