A 17-year-old is facing serious charges after police say he tried to abduct someone on Chestnut Street just after 1 a.m. Saturday, according to WBNG.
Binghamton Police tracked down the teen and arrested him the next day. He’s charged with second-degree attempted kidnapping and is now under electronic monitoring through Broome County Probation.
The investigation is still active. Police are asking anyone with information to call 607-772-7080.
