Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season delivered an instant classic.
On Sunday Night Football, Josh Allen, the league’s reigning MVP, led the Buffalo Bills to a stunning 41-40 come-from-behind win over the Baltimore Ravens in the final home opener at Highmark Stadium.
Buffalo (1-0) trailed by 15 points with less than four minutes to play before Allen directed three scoring drives, the last setting up Matt Prater’s 32-yard field goal as time expired. The Bills scored 22 points over the final 15 minutes to secure the victory.
Allen totaled 394 passing yards with two touchdowns through the air and two more on the ground. Lamar Jackson accounted for four scores of his own, throwing for 210 yards and rushing for two touchdowns. Derrick Henry powered Baltimore with 169 rushing yards and two touchdowns, but lost a critical fourth-quarter fumble that shifted momentum toward Buffalo.
