Police arrested a man after a late-night argument turned violent at a New York State Fair food stand.
Branden J. Brown, 25, of York, Pennsylvania, is accused of striking a coworker in the face with a culinary knife during a dispute at Santillo’s Sausage just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
State Police say the two employees were cleaning up for the night when a verbal altercation escalated. The victim was hit in the left cheek and taken to Upstate Hospital for treatment.
Brown fled the scene before officers arrived but was later found and taken into custody without incident. He now faces two felony charges: second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
He was arraigned in Onondaga County CAP Court.
