A license plate reader alert led to the arrest of a Rochester woman at Eastview Mall on Wednesday.
Deputies say 32-year-old Joy Gauson was taken into custody on August 20 after driving onto the mall property in a 2019 Chevrolet Trax reported stolen out of Monroe County.
The arrest happened around 5:30 p.m. near the Goodwill store in the Town of Victor. Gauson was charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and issued an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
