A man was taken into custody following a larceny investigation at a Walmart in the Town of Hopewell.
Lawrence Martin Bullock, 62, of Canandaigua, was arrested March 19 in connection with the incident.
Deputies said the investigation stemmed from a March 14 incident at the store on Recreation Drive.
Authorities said Bullock selected merchandise and passed all points of sale without paying, with a total value of $988.98.
He was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge at a later date.
