The Town of Canandaigua highlighted upcoming events, meetings, and seasonal updates in its March newsletter.
Officials announced the town’s first town hall meeting of the year, scheduled for March 23 at 6 p.m.
The meeting will be held at Town Hall and will include an open discussion between residents, town board members, and staff.
The town said it plans to hold similar meetings three times a year, with the possibility of adding more based on participation.
The newsletter also notes the state’s residential brush burn ban began March 16 and runs through May 14.
Officials said work is resuming on retaining walls at Onanda Park, with temporary road closures expected during construction.
The town also reported receiving a Gold designation in the New York State Towns of Excellence program, recognizing leadership and community engagement.
