Drivers in the town of Sennett should expect delays as road maintenance is scheduled on three local streets this week and next.
According to the Highway Department, milling work will begin Thursday, July 17, on South Hunter Avenue, Foxcroft Circle, and Parkwood Lane. Paving is scheduled for Monday, July 21, weather permitting. Work will take place each day from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During construction hours, roads will be closed or reduced to a single lane. Motorists should anticipate wait times and are urged to slow down and drive with caution through work zones.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead, take alternate routes if possible, and allow extra time for commuting.
