Two people struck by a dump truck near Syracuse University have died from their injuries, according to WSYR. The incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on July 10 between E. Adams Street and University Avenue.
A woman in her 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. A 24-year-old man was transported to Upstate University Hospital in critical condition but later died. Police say the truck driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Traffic Division.
