A Cuba man pleaded guilty to a federal drug charge involving a marijuana grow operation.
Daniel S. Ackerman, 59, entered the plea before a U.S. District Court judge in Buffalo.
Prosecutors said Ackerman admitted to possession with intent to distribute 50 or more marijuana plants.
Authorities said a search warrant executed Oct. 10, 2024, led to the seizure of 475 growing marijuana plants and 124 dried plants.
Investigators also recovered about 2,097 grams of processed marijuana, cannabis concentrates, psilocybin mushrooms, scales and multiple cell phones.
Law enforcement reported seizing a 9mm pistol and ammunition during the search.
Ackerman faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 23.
