Woman arrested after reported domestic incident in Mentz

Deputies responded to a reported domestic incident March 21 in the town of Mentz.

Lisa E. Lucio, 60, of Mentz was arrested following the investigation, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the incident was reported around 4:13 p.m. at a residence, where a male victim told deputies Lucio threatened him with a kitchen knife.

Investigators said the victim was able to take the knife away before Lucio bit him on the arm, causing a minor injury.

Deputies also reported property damage after a cell phone was thrown, causing a picture to fall and break.

Lucio was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, attempted fourth-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree assault.

She was taken to the Cayuga County Jail, arraigned, and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in Mentz Town Court at a later date.
