A demonstration is planned Saturday in Ovid as part of the national No Kings Day of Action.
Organizers said the event will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 96 and Route 96A/Route 414.
The group Indivisible Seneca is organizing the rally, which it said will be peaceful and focused on support for the rule of law and democratic governance.
Organizers said they believe current federal actions threaten democracy, the rule of law and civil society.
Previous No Kings Day events in June and October drew hundreds of participants in Ovid, according to organizers.
They said the demonstration aims to show concern about threats to democracy in rural parts of the Finger Lakes.
