A Rochester man suffered minor injuries after crashing his vehicle into a utility pole in the Town of Huron, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said Harshall Akers was driving east on Ridge Road near Brick Schoolhouse Road around 11:30 a.m. on July 6 when his vehicle veered off the road and struck the pole.
The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene. Akers was treated and cleared by Wayne County Emergency Medical Services.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by Wayne County EMS and the Alton Fire Department.
