The full closure of Onondaga Lake Parkway in Salina has been extended to midnight Saturday, Oct. 31, while CSX continues bridge work.
The closure affects both directions of State Route 370 between Park Street and Oswego Street in Onondaga County, according to a Wednesday update from the New York State Department of Transportation.
Eastbound and westbound traffic is being directed along a signed detour using Old Liverpool Road.
The road closed at noon Friday, Oct. 23, and had been scheduled to reopen at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28. CSX informed DOT that the closure needed to be extended for the ongoing bridge work.
