A Penfield man was arrested on a driving while intoxicated allegation after Wayne County deputies stopped a vehicle they said was traveling more than 75 mph on Route 104 in Huron early Monday.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office identified him as Justin Hart, 42, and said the stop occurred at 3:03 a.m. in a posted 55 mph zone.
Deputies said Hart showed significant signs of intoxication during the stop and failed field sobriety tests.
The sheriff's office said a later chemical breath test measured his blood alcohol concentration at 0.17%.
Hart was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in Huron Town Court at a later date, according to the release. The office did not specify a court date.
