Wayne County sheriff’s deputies charged a 20-year-old Webster man with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop early Monday in the town of Huron.
Deputies said Leo P. Carr was driving east on Route 104 around 12:25 a.m. Sept. 7 when he made an illegal U-turn and then crossed the yellow center line.
Deputies said they observed several signs of intoxication and that Carr failed standardized field sobriety tests.
A chemical breath test later measured Carr’s blood alcohol content at 0.13%, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Carr was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content above 0.08% and several traffic infractions.
He was processed at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, released on tickets and ordered to appear in Huron Town Court at a later date.
