A new effort is underway in Yates County to establish a Veterans Memorial Park honoring local service members. The project follows last year’s successful visit from The Wall That Heals and is led by a dedicated committee turned nonprofit.
Organizers are seeking land in a visible, accessible location and are calling on the community for site suggestions and financial support. The park will include memorial installations, landscaping, and visitor amenities.
Donations and land proposals are being accepted as the group works to turn the vision into a permanent space for reflection and tribute.
