The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office welcomed three new correction officers during a swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday at the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus.
With family and colleagues in attendance, Correction Officer Hunter Ford, Correction Officer Ryleigh Hayward, and Correction Officer Andrew Mateo took their oaths and officially joined the agency.
Sheriff Thompson, who presided over the ceremony, extended his best wishes to the new officers. “I wish these three new Correction Officers the best of luck and continued safety as they start their careers,” he said.
The addition of these officers comes as law enforcement agencies across the state continue efforts to strengthen their ranks and ensure the safety of both staff and the community.
