Spanning 1,800 square feet, the GROW exhibit provides an interactive journey through Central New York’s agriculture and food systems. Highlights include a six-stall farmer’s market where visitors can “purchase” local products and scan them for nutrition information, a hands-on crop field showcasing Indigenous agricultural traditions, and a tractor and trailer station that explains food distribution. Later this summer, an additional section will open, focusing on agricultural technology and large-scale food production.

The Food Bank of Central New York will also be present at the event, collecting non-perishable food donations for local families in need. Requested items include canned goods, grains, pasta, and other pantry staples.

The GROW exhibit is presented in collaboration with Onondaga Grown, a program dedicated to promoting local farms and agricultural education. The MOST, located in downtown Syracuse’s Armory Square, features 35,000 square feet of hands-on exhibits, a state-of-the-art dome theater, and STEM education programs designed to spark curiosity in visitors of all ages.
