Cornell Cooperative Extension of Steuben County is hosting a free virtual session on March 11 to educate residents about raising hens for fresh eggs. The one-hour Zoom event will cover local regulations, flock care, costs, and best practices for selling eggs.
Attendees will learn how to raise hens from chicks to egg production and gain insight into what to expect as poultry owners. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
