Ryan Havranek and his family are facing a long road to recovery after a fire destroyed their Canandaigua home. Now living in a hotel, they must gut and rebuild the house, a daunting process made harder by the loss of personal belongings and essentials.
The fire, sparked by kindling near a fireplace, forced Havranek and his daughters to evacuate quickly. While they escaped unharmed, three foster kittens died, and the home suffered severe smoke damage. The community has rallied behind them, donating over $2,000 and offering help with cleanup.
Havranek, a generous and hardworking local business owner, hopes to rebuild in four to five months with help from his crew.
